MMRO's Medical Evaluation Coordinator is responsible for scheduling medical appointments with doctors and medical professionals in a variety of specialties.  Appointments take place in various states across the country.  Medical Evaluation Coordinators may need to use maps to assist with identifying geographical areas near the patients home.  Sometimes, Medical Evaluation Coordinators will need to find new physicians to add to our directory if one does not exist in a required geographical area.  

This role serves as a liaison between the patient and the medical provider.  This role works closely with scheduling, negotiating payments/fees for medical providers and communicating with patients who have an open medical or disability claim. 

Experience that will help you excel in this role: organization, detail oriented, familiarity with medical terminology, scheduling medical appointments, customer service experience and medical office experience.

If you have industry knowledge of disability claims, workers comp, short term disability, long term disability or medical claims, that is beneficial.
